Böhler Schmiedetechnik and Buderus Edelstahl Schmiedetechnik take a very project-oriented approach to their business. In many cases, the special forged parts are developed in close cooperation with customers. These components and the behavior of the relevant materials are simulated with in-house computer programs and optimized before the start of series production. Therefore, research activities play an important role at both locations.

A special focus that is highly valued by the customers of these two companies is the intensive long-term cooperation. Especially in the aircraft industry, it often takes many years to achieve certification as a qualified supplier – but this is exactly a key strength of BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM.
