INDEPENDENCE
According to Rule 53 of the Austrian Code of Corporate Governance, the members of the Supervisory Board of BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM AG have decided on criteria for independence. These criteria correspond to the guidelines in Annex 1 of the Code.
BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM AG emphasizes that roughly 80% of the Company is owned by voestalpine AG. This ownership structure is also reflected in the Supervisory Board of BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM AG. The majority of the Supervisory Board members are members of the Management Board of voestalpine AG.
