voestalpine AG acquired the majority of shares in BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM AG during the 2007/08 financial year through a voluntary public takeover bid. The full acquisition of BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM AG by voestalpine AG was completed in 2008/09. As a consequence of this transaction, the BÖHLER-UDDEHOLM share was delisted from the Vienna Stock Exchange on 5 September 2008.
